On September 24th, I was honored to have been chosen to fly to California and host the first annual American Museum of Fly Fishing Benefit Auction in San Francisco.

The Marketbar in the Ferry Building was a fabulous choice to hold the event...

as family, friends and admirers joined together to celebrate the legacy of Mel Krieger and support the American Museum of Fly Fishing.

Festivities started on the Marketbar patio...

with mouthwatering appetizers and drinks for all.

Absolutely delectable!

Once inside, guests enjoyed bidding on wonderful silent auction items...

including items donated by Mel's wife, Fanny.

As the American Museum of Fly Fishing honored his legacy, guests heard heart warming stories of Mel, spoken through his family and friends...

enjoyed a wonderful dinner...

and had the chance to bid on great items, including exotic fishing trips in the live auction.

Everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves, learned more about the museum and was touched by the heart and soul of Mel Krieger.
